On April 21, Jerry Chapman took a worship team to Rainier, Oregon for their first-ever Gathering. There were over 100 people in attendance including “pre-believers.”
“My brother would never set foot in a church but really enjoyed himself,” one attendee commented.
The Gathering format reaches out in a way that is more appealing to the unchurched. Everyone enjoyed a delicious potluck, then joined in a time of worship and corporate prayer with no one hesitating to participate.
On April 27, Jerry traveled to Tacoma and Seattle, Washington, to deliver some drums and attended a meeting with Open Heart Ministries Bethseda.
Jerry and Leslie will attend a prayer summit with the Kelso-Longview pastors May 16-17. They believe it is vital to take the time to seek the Lord together with the other ministry leaders in their area.
On May 19, Jerry will be the Emcee for the “In Honor of Our Children” PowWow at the Kelso School District, from 1-9 p.m.
The end of May, Jerry and Leslie are looking forward to going to Ketchikan with the Greelys for four days of ministry. You can check their itinerary for details on these events.
