Ishskwaday is a Native Christian Conference, which takes place every two years, with a vision of empowering Aboriginals in their identity. Ishskwaday ‘08 is the second conference since the inception of this vision. Building from our first conference in 2006, Ishskwaday ‘08 is a movement towards reconciliation. This reconciliation is not only for Aboriginals, but for all peoples who are continuously learning to reconcile who we are with who God  created us to be. It will feature ten academics: among them Missiologists, Theologians, Historians and Legal scholars. An invited audience will participate in the discussion. What missiologies provided church support and legitimacy to the invasion and exploitation? How do we develop missiologies that are more appropriate to the values of the gospel? These are among the questions that the consultation will address.
